How does an organism survive in its environment?

Choose an organism and label at least six of its structures. Explain what each structure does and how it helps the organism survive, grow or interact with its environment.

  1. Choose an animal, plant, fungus or microbe and include its name.
  2. Add a picture and label at least six structures.
  3. Explain the function of each structure and connect it to survival.

Example: A duck’s webbed feet help push against water during swimming. Name the structure first, then explain how its features support the function.
